Representatives of the Black Jews / Yisraelite Organization of Unity invited to the White House:  We at Yisrael Today are honored to say that Rabbi Funnye of the Chicago chapter of the International Board of Rabbis (that supports the Yisraelite Organization of Unity) and Rabbi Gershom leader of the Abayudaya community in Uganda were invited to the White House as representatives of the Black Jews and Hebrew Israelite Communities.  Read the report here.

University and Court Debate on if the Ebos/Hebrews are the sons of Israel or just Illegal immigrants:  Yisrael Today originally reported in 2006 how the Chief Rabbinate recognized the Ebos (Heeboes) as sons of Israel. However, the registration process was delayed due to the consideration as to whether the Ebos/Hebrews were received as a returning tribe of Israel or as new immigrant converts. But when the Ebos/Hebrews were stopped by the Israeli Immigration Police they did not respect the documents that recognized the Ebos/Hebrews as ‘Jews’ because the paper work was not filed on their status in the State of Israel. Thus, they stilled considered the Ebos/Hebrews who migrated to Israel as simply being illegal immigrant workers in the country.   Read the report here.

IDF soldiers of the K.O.Y community plans to get a kibbutz on their own from the United Kibbutz Movement of Israel:  In accordance with the upcoming Jubilee year, after 40 years the Dimona IDF soldiers of the K.O.Y are seeking land from the Israeli government. As reported in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, a group of Black Hebrews from K.O.Y enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces with the intention of establishing a farming community in the southern Negev.   Read the report here.

White Cherokee members of Oklahoma voted to expel all of the Black Cherokee Indians (sons of Israel) from the Cherokee Nation:  The Cherokee members of Oklahoma voted to expel all of the Freedmen (Black Indians) from the Cherokee Nation. Thousands of Black Indians identifications and registration as Cherokees were revoked by this vote. According to information that we have obtain, it was largely based upon the current US money that the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma are currently receiving.   Read the report here.

First World Summit of Stakeholders in the the Israel, Lost Tribes & Church Agenda:   Representative Chief Evis Ike of the Ebo people in Israel travels home to Nigeria for the 'First World Summit of Stakeholders in the land of Israel, Lost Tribes & Church Agenda' held on 29th & 30th September, 2006, at the National Theatre, Lagos Nigeria. Ike also met with officials from the Assembly of Yahweh and others about the house of Yahweh in Israel.
